Edwin Cruz is a member of the firm’s Labor & Employment Law, Commercial Litigation and Insurance Practice Groups.
Edwin received his Juris Doctor degree from the Florida International University College of Law and his Bachelor of Arts degree in Business Administration from Florida International University. He has served as Managing Editor of the Florida International University Law Review and was a founding member of the College of Law's chapter of the Phi Alpha Delta legal fraternity – where he was the fraternity's first Marshall.
A member of the Hispanic National Bar Association and the Dade County Bar Association, Edwin is admitted to practice in all Florida State Courts, in addition to the United States District Court for the Southern District of Florida, the United States District Court for the Middle District of Florida, and the United States Court of Appeals for the Eleventh Circuit.
He focuses his practice on labor and employment law and litigation; business and commercial law; civil rights litigation; condominium and homeowners’ association litigation; director and officer liability issues; and handicap accessibility compliance.
