Andrew Tuttle is a Shareholder in the Firm’s Palm Beach office. Since his licensure, Andrew’s practice areas has always included complex
commercial litigation and
casualty defense matters, where he regularly practices throughout Florida in both federal and state courts. Given Andrew’s longstanding experience and exposure to varied jurisdictions, he has and continues to develop and implement highly-effective strategies for his clients, particularly relating to emerging legal trends, such as Florida’s recent enactment of legislation on tort-reform (HB 837) and construction matters (SB 360).
Andrew’s complex commercial litigation practices specially focuses on business-related matters, including, but not limited to: construction litigation; contract/restrictive covenant claims; business torts and frauds; complex institutional foreclosure and post-judgment proceedings; landlord-tenant law; and, securities litigation. This diverse portfolio has led to representing a multi-state energy company, statewide construction firms, public and private universities, political subdivisions of the State of Florida, as well as, nationally-sized to family-owned businesses.
In Andrew’s highly-active and robust casualty practice, he regularly defends premises, products, catastrophic personal injury matters and also similar claims such as negligent security and nursing homes. His representation in this area of law involves defending nationwide/regional retailers, c-stores and restaurant chains, leading manufacturers, multi-state property management firms, mass transportation clients, nursing home facilities and many other similar-situated businesses.
Andrew attended Stetson University College of Law, where he obtained a J.D., with a Certificate of Concentration in Advocacy. At Stetson, he was a member of the trial team, which won a national championship and, collectively, was ranked the #1 trial team nationwide. Also, Andrew received several highest grade awards: Trial Advocacy; Pre-Trial Practice (civil law); and, Ocean Coastal Law and Policy. During law school, Andrew clerked for the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency in Washington D.C., served as Certified Legal Intern at the State Attorney’s Office (Fla. 6th Cir.), as an appellate intern for the Honorable Thane B. Covert and also interned at the State Attorney’s Office (Fla. 15th Cir.).
