Fowler White Burnett Attorney Elected Director of the Asian Pacific American Bar Association

Fowler White Burnett today announced that Alice Sum has been elected director of the Asian Pacific Bar Association of South Florida (APABA). The appointments are for a one-year term. Sum, a shareholder in the firm’s Miami office, focuses her practice on commercial litigation. She was previously a member of the APABA’s board of directors and was also the president in 2006-2007. APABA is a non-profit, voluntary bar organization of Asian Pacific American attorneys in Miami-Dade, Broward and Palm Beach counties. The organization is dedicated to ensuring that the Asian Pacific American community is effectively represented in South Florida. The appointments are for a one-year term.
