Jonathan Dunleavy Joins Fowler White Burnett

Fowler White Burnett, P.A. announced today that Mr. Jonathan H. Dunleavy has joined the firm’s Miami office as an Associate in the Maritime Practice Group.  

Mr. Dunleavy comes to Fowler White Burnett from McAlpin Conroy P.A. He brings fifteen years of civil litigation experience in the area of Admiralty and Maritime Defense in both state and federal court.  Mr. Dunleavy focuses his practice on maritime civil litigation matters including recreational boating and diving accidents, Jones Act and passenger claims, collision cases, maritime liens and product liability claims. 

Mr. Dunleavy received his Bachelor of Science from Michigan State University and his Juris Doctor, from Thomas M. Cooley Law School. He is a member of the Florida Bar and the Illinois Bar, and is admitted to practice in the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Eleventh Circuit and the U.S. District Courts for the Southern, Middle and Northern Districts of Florida.   Mr. Dunleavy is an active member of the Fort Lauderdale Mariners Club and currently sits as the Seminar Chair. In addition to his professional legal work, Mr. Dunleavy teaches Public Speaking as an Adjunct Professor at the University of Miami.
