Fowler White Burnett's June G. Hoffman Appointed to Two Positions Within The Appellate Practice Section of The Florida Bar

Fowler White Burnett today announced that shareholder June G. Hoffman has been appointed to the Executive Council of the Appellate Practice Section of The Florida Bar for a three-year term ending June 2012. She has also been appointed chair of the Florida Bar’s Appellate Practice Section's Programs Committee for 2009-2010.

Based in the firm’s Fort Lauderdale office, Hoffman has more than 15 years of experience in appellate litigation and has been board certified in appellate practice by The Florida Bar since 2003. She has served as lead appellate counsel in more than 200 civil appellate proceedings in state and federal appeals courts. Hoffman has appeared on Larry King Live, the Today Show, Fox News and Court TV as an appellate expert, and has also been recognized as a premier appellate attorney in Florida Super Lawyers and South Florida Legal Guide's Top Lawyers.

The Appellate Practice Section of The Florida Bar is a 1700-person organization devoted to promoting excellence in Florida's state and federal appellate courts. Its purpose is to enhance the role and skills of its members through study, continuing legal education, the dissemination of materials on matters of interest and concern to the membership and through the exchange of ideas. The Executive Council is in charge of the affairs of this section.
