Fowler White Burnett Shareholder Michael Drahos Appointed to The Village of Wellington Planning, Zoning and Adjustment Board

Fowler White Burnett today announced that shareholder Michael Drahos has been appointed to The Village of Wellington, Planning, Zoning and Adjustment Board.

Based in the firm’s West Palm Beach office, Drahos focuses his practice on the defense of products liability and related litigation, such as catastrophic personal injury and wrongful death. He represents leading manufacturers, distributors and retailers in actions by individual plaintiffs, class actions and complex aggregate liability matters.

He holds a law degree from Nova Southeastern Law University Shepard Broad Law Center and a bachelor’s degree from Florida State University.

The Village of Wellington, Planning, Zoning and Adjustment Board makes recommendations regarding proposed amendments to the comp plan, to land development regulations and on applications for rezoning and development permits. It also performs the functions of a local planning agency, approves or denies variances to the Land Development Regulations, approves or reverses decisions made by the Director of Planning, Zoning, Building & Code Enforcement or the Village Engineer, and conducts hearings on impact fees.
