Prior to joining the firm, Benjamin served as an attorney at a regional litigation firm where he handled a broad range of insurance defense matters and was a member of the firm’s trial team. He has extensive experience managing litigation dockets, conducting depositions, attending mediations, drafting substantive motions and memoranda, and negotiating settlements.

Earlier in his career, Benjamin worked in house for a statewide insurance company, where he handled first party property litigation from inception through resolution. He conducted numerous examinations under oath involving homeowners, public adjusters, and contractors, defended corporate representative and adjuster depositions, evaluated hurricane, roof, water, and plumbing claims, and prepared detailed case evaluations to obtain settlement authority.

Benjamin earned his Juris Doctor from the University of Miami School of Law and his Bachelor of Arts in Criminology and Law from the University of Florida.
