About Brian D. Elias
Brian Elias’ practice encompasses a wide range of civil litigation matters with particular emphasis on business disputes, employment, and Community Association matters. Brian’s practice is national in scope, having appeared before state and federal courts on a wide array of business litigation and arbitration matters. Highly regarded by his peers, Brian is recognized by Best Lawyers in America® for Commercial Litigation and rated AV Preeminent by Martindale-Hubbell. Brian currently serves as a member and Chairman of the Board for the City of Miami Beach Planning Board.
Brian is a commercial litigator whose practice encompasses a broad range of business litigation and arbitration matters. He represents clients in state and federal courts involving a myriad of business litigation issues and when appropriate, resolves business disputes through negotiation and mediation, eliminating costs and risks of on-going litigation. Brian’s clients include some of the largest securities brokerage firms in the U.S. as well as a significant number of Florida Community Associations.

- Representation in state and federal courts, as well as in arbitration, involving claims for injunctive relief and damages for violation of restrictive covenants, wrongful/constructive termination, whistleblowing, and raiding.
- Lead national attorney defending against claims of fraudulent limited partnership sales.
- One of Lead counsel defending against claims of fraud and negligence in the performance of clearing services.
- Lead national counsel for corporations providing prospective employees with legal advice in accordance with contractual and Trade Secret Obligations for purposes of employment transitions.
- Resolution of hundreds of business disputes through negotiation and mediation, eliminating costs and risks of litigation.
