Alexander M. Rattner is an associate in the firm’s Commercial Litigation Practice Group. Alex provides strategic advice to startups and entreprenuers in connection with the corporate structuring, strategic licensing arrangements, and offensive and defensive protection of intellectual property rights, including the consideration for patent, copyright, and trademark protection. He also advises in the negotiation of commercial contracts, including but not limited to, a variety of general business, intellectual property, license, employment, and real estate contracts. In an effort to help his clients avoid costly litigation, Alex provides creative and practical solutions to resolve pre-litigation business disputes.
As an active legal and entrepreneur mentor in the Law Without Walls initiative (“LWOW”), Alex is involved in the innovation and perpetuation of a global community of change agents that are transforming the way lawyers and business professionals partner to solve problems at the intersection of law, business, and technology.
Alex received his Juris Doctor degree, Cum Laude from the University of Miami School of Law and a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from the University of Florida. He is admitted to the Florida Bar and the United States District Court of the Southern District of Florida.
