William Potucek is a Shareholder in the firm's Insurance Practice Group and regularly practices in State and Federal Courts. His practice includes the defense of a variety of claims, with a particular emphasis on premises liability and personal injury matters. He also defends companies and major insurance carriers against claims that occur on commercial property or result from automobile accidents and devotes a portion of his practice to maritime-related litigation, with an emphasis on the defense of personal injury claims brought by passengers and crew members. William also defends claims involving airline carriers, aircraft and product manufacturers, and maintenance providers in litigation arising from aircraft accidents.
In addition, William assists with the representation of domestic and international clients, drafts and reviews vendor agreements, represents start-up companies and established corporations across a broad range of industries, as well as entrepreneurs, and handles commercial disputes. William also has experience handling a wide range of legal matters facing health insurance companies, including provider and physician disputes.
William received his Bachelor of Science degree, cum laude, from Florida Southern College, his Master of Business Administration degree from Stetson University School of Business, and his Juris Doctor degree, cum laude from Stetson University College of Law, where he was a member of Phi Delta Phi Honor Society, Maritime Law Society, Business Law Society and International Law Society.
