Practice Focus
Andrew Tuttle is a Shareholder in the Firm’s Palm Beach office. His practice is divided between complex commercial litigation and casualty defense matters. This diverse portfolio – in both federal and state courts – has permitted Andrew to develop and implement effective and cost-maximizing strategies for his varied clientele, based upon both tried-and-tested and emerging legal trends.
Andrew’s complex commercial litigation practices specially focuses on business-related matters, including, but not limited to: the prosecution and defense of contract/restrictive covenant claims; business torts and frauds; all manner of condominium disputes; construction litigation; complex institutional foreclosure and post-judgment proceedings; landlord-tenant law; and, securities litigation. Andrew’s work in these areas has included the representation of a multi-state energy company, statewide construction firms, public and private universities and small to nationally-sized businesses.
As to his robust casualty practice, Andrew’s work involves the defense of products, premises and catastrophic personal injury matters – including purported nursing home negligence, throughout the state of Florida, on behalf of leading manufacturers, nationwide retailers, multi-state property management firms, national and regional restaurant chains, mass transportation clients and small to large nursing home facilities.
Andrew attended Stetson University College of Law, where he obtained a Juris Doctorate and a Certificate of Concentration in Advocacy. He was also a member of the trial team. As a trial team member, Andrew’s team won an American Bar Association national championship, which, in part, prompted U.S. News and World Report to crown Stetson’s trial team #1 nationwide. He received several “Book” Awards (highest grade): Trial Advocacy; Pre-Trial Practice (civil law); and, Ocean Coastal Law and Policy. During law school, Andrew clerked the Environmental Protection Agency in Washington D.C., served as Certified Legal Intern for the State Attorney’s Office for the Sixth Judicial Circuit, held an appellate internship for the Honorable Thane B. Covert and also interned at the State Attorney’s Office for the Fifteenth Judicial Circuit.
