Gerard Di Popolo is an associate in the firm's Maritime and Insurance Practice Groups. Gerard's practice focuses on maritime-related litigation, with an emphasis on the defense of personal injury claims brought by passengers and crew members. He assists with the representation of domestic and international clients from every facet of the maritime industry, including insurers, cargo carriers, vessel owners, charterers, shipping companies, and marina and terminal operators. He is conversational in the Spanish and Italian languages.
Gerard received his Juris Doctor degree, cum laude, from the University of Miami School of Law where he served as the Staff Editor of the University of Miami Race and Social Justice Law Review. He received his Bachelor of Arts degree in Anthropology, cum laude, from the University of Florida.
