Practice Focus

Victor M. Velarde is a Shareholder in the firm's Commercial Litigation Practice Group. Victor provides competent and cost-effective representation to corporations and individuals in state and federal court. He has substantial experience representing and advising management and business owners in commercial, corporate, and labor and employment litigation. Victor is admitted to practice in all Florida state courts, the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Florida, and the U.S. District Court for the Middle District of Florida.

Victor earned his Juris Doctor degree, magna cum laude, from the University of Miami School of Law, and earned his Bachelors of Arts degree, magna cum laude, from Florida International University. In law school, Victor served as the Executive Editor of the University of Miami Business Law Review and was a member of Charles C. Papy, Jr. Moot Court Board where he argued in multiple competitions and was awarded "Best Brief" at the National Moot Court Competition Region V and "Top Oral Advocate" in the University of Miami School of Law Intramural Moot Court Competition.
