John R. Sheppard, Jr. is a Shareholder in the firm's Commercial Litigation Practice Group in the West Palm Beach office. Florida Bar Board Certified in Condominium and Planned Development Law, John represents Community Associations, business owners, individual investors, and institutional clients in a variety of commercial transactions and disputes.
Practice Focus
John has extensive experience in all areas of Association representation, including collections, covenant and contract drafting and amending, covenant enforcement, vendor and construction contracting, coordinating and attending annual and board meetings, developer representation, loan representation, business disputes, real estate litigation, construction litigation, Federal and State Fair Housing Act disputes, hospitality law, landlord-tenant, and general civil litigation.
He has successfully litigated a full range of disputes, including commercial, negligence, torts, construction, collection, foreclosure, covenant enforcement, real property, condominium and homeowner’s association, and administrative in both State and Federal Trial and Appellate Courts, before Arbitration Panels, and before Administrative Boards.
John speaks frequently at various legal seminars through National Business Institute. He is a member of the Florida Bar, Palm Beach County Bar Association, and the Stuart/Martin County Chamber of Commerce.
