Mallory A. Sullivan is a Shareholder in the Fort Lauderdale office where she focuses her practice in the areas of insurance defense, commercial and business litigation. While she is well versed in meeting all needs of her clients, her area of expertise is in transportation litigation, where she knows industry nuances and excels at implementing proactive strategies. Her clients include motor carriers, marinas, manufacturers, retailers, utility companies, insurers, and government entities that span in size from small businesses to Fortune 500 companies. She currently handles cases throughout Florida, in both federal and state courts, from inception through appeal, and notably, has procured defense verdicts in jury trials on behalf of her clients. Prior to joining Fowler White, Mallory practiced in the New York City and Fort Lauderdale offices of a national defense firm where she regularly litigated cases in both jurisdictions, as well as in other states for clients where she was part of their national counsel team. In addition to being licensed in Florida and New York, Mallory is also licensed in South Carolina and Washington DC.
Mallory graduated cum laude from Washington and Lee School of Law where she was on the Washington and Lee Law Review; a Burks Scholar; the recipient of a full merit scholarship; published a Note; clerked for a justice of the Virginia Supreme Court; a member of the Omicron Delta Kappa and Phi Delta Phi Honor societies; and awarded a grant for pro bono work as a Washington and Lee Post-Graduate Fellow. As Symposium Editor of the Law Review, she oversaw all aspects of a multi-day conference on Regulation in the Fringe Economy and managed the editing of an Issue of the Law Review.
Prior to law school, Mallory graduated cum laude from Wake Forest University with a degree in Business and a minor in Anthropology. At Wake Forest, she was a Pro Humanitate Scholar; a Heritage Scholar; a member of the Mortar Board, Delta Phi Alpha, and Lambda Alpha Honor Societies; and an ACC Scholar Athlete. During college, she studied abroad in Vienna, Austria; completed a funded research project on Roatán Island, Honduras; was a cheerleader and a member of Kappa Kappa Gamma sorority; and volunteered with the Big Brother Big Sister program.
