A former Senior Attorney with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission, Sandra Tart has more than 30 years of experience litigating commercial and securities-related disputes in South Florida. She regularly defends business clients in high-exposure cases and specializes in complex, multi-party, document-intensive lawsuits and class actions in both Federal and State Court.
Sandy’s practice encompasses the wide range of conflicts that arise during the course of business. She routinely represents corporate clients where significant dollars, reputation and business interests are at stake. She has substantial experience in effectively litigating and resolving contract and other disputes in technical industries such as credit card processing, computers, and specialty manufacturing. Sandy's forte is strategic planning and management of the legal and logistical challenges found in every complex case. Sandy also represents officers and directors and non-medical professionals in claims involving allegations of malpractice, breach of fiduciary duty and fraud.
As a member of the Corporate & Special Investigations Practice Group, Sandy regularly counsels corporate and individual executive clients on risk analysis, compliance, government policy and investigative tactics.
Sandy obtained her Juris Doctor degree from Case Western Reserve University and her Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Virginia.
