We are pleased to announce that Shareholder, June G. Hoffman, has been recertified in Appellate Practice by The Florida Bar Board of Legal Specialization and Education. Hoffman has maintained her Appellate Practice specialization status since 2003.
Hoffman chairs the firm’s Appellate Practice Group where she specializes in tort defense, health care and appellate advocacy. In addition, she provides litigation support and appellate counseling to trial attorneys during every phase of litigation to optimize the clients’ position and develop effective strategies for trial counsel.
Florida Bar Board certification recognizes attorneys’ special knowledge, skills and proficiency in various areas of law and professionalism and ethics in practice. Certified attorneys are the only lawyers allowed to use the term specialist. Only seven percent of eligible Florida Bar members – approximately 5,181 lawyers – have earned board certification in one or more of the 27 specialty areas.
