Fowler White Burnett is pleased to announce that Christopher B. Smith has joined the firm’s expanding Maritime Practice as an associate in the Miami office.
Smith focuses his practice on maritime personal injury, medical malpractice, products liability, and general negligence. He is experienced in passenger and crewmember claims, maritime limitation of liability actions, and recreational boating incidents.
Smith was recognized in the 2020 Inaugural Edition of Best Lawyers: Ones to Watch in the areas of Plaintiff's Medical Malpractice and Plaintiff's Personal Injury.
He received his J.D., cum laude, from the University of Miami and his B.A., cum laude, from the University of Georgia. He is admitted to practice law in Florida, New York, the U.S. District Court for the Southern and Middle District of Florida, and the U.S District Court for the Southern District of New York.
