Fowler White Burnett is pleased to announce that Lauren N. Alvarez and Robert H. Friedhoff have joined the firm as associates.
Alvarez is an Associate in the firm’s commercial litigation practice and has experience with wrongful death and complex commercial litigation matters.
She earned her Juris Doctor degree from the University of Miami School of Law where she graduated magna cum laude. In law school, Lauren was a member of the University of Miami Law Review and served as a Dean’s Fellow for core subjects such as Civil Procedure, Property, and Torts. Lauren was a recipient of the Bruce J. Winick Award for Academic Excellence awarded to students in the top 1% percent of their first-year class and earned Book Awards in Civil Procedure, Contracts, Immigration, and U.S. Constitutional Law. She earned her Bachelor of Science degrees, magna cum laude, in Legal Studies and Criminal Justice from the University of Central Florida.
Friedhoff is an Associate in the firm’s corporate and international practice groups. Robert has a background in corporate, intellectual property, employment, anti-trust, and foreign laws. He has experience in economic substance reporting for foreign corporation, drafting employment agreements, asset purchase agreements, real estate purchase, sale & rental agreements, as well as memoranda and legal research in liquor law, trademark, and foreign laws.
He obtained his Juris Doctor from the University of Miami School of Law, cum laude, and his B.A. in Political Science from the College of Wooster.
