Fowler White Burnett today announced the addition of Joseph L. Ackerman, Jr. as a shareholder to the firm’s West Palm Beach office. He will specialize in commercial litigation and will represent small to mid-sized businesses and individual clients in both recurring litigation and complex actions.
Prior to joining Fowler White Burnett, Ackerman was a trial lawyer at Buckingham Doolittle & Burroughs in West Palm Beach, where he focused his practice on commercial, civil rights, personal injury and probate litigation. Before this, he was a partner at Boose Casey Ciklin Lubitz Martens McBane & O’Connell in West Palm Beach. Ackerman began his career at Moore Farmer Menkhaus & Juran, P.A. in Boca Raton.
Ackerman holds a law degree from the University of Florida and a bachelor’s degree from the College of William and Mary in Virginia.
