Fowler White Burnett today announced that Alice Sum has been elected director of the Asian Pacific Bar Association of South Florida (APABA). The appointments are for a one-year term. Sum, a shareholder in the firm’s Miami office, focuses her practice on commercial litigation. She was previously a member of the APABA’s board of directors and was also the president in 2006-2007. APABA is a non-profit, voluntary bar organization of Asian Pacific American attorneys in Miami-Dade, Broward and Palm Beach counties.
