Fowler White Burnett Attorney Elected to the American Board of Trial Advocates

Fowler White Burnett today announced that Christopher E. Knight has been elected to the American Board of Trial Advocates (ABOTA)  and its Miami chapter.

Knight, managing director and shareholder with the firm's Miami office, leads the aviation and medical malpractice practice groups. He serves as counsel to several airlines and to a major insurer for Florida. Knight represents Fortune 500 companies and is the lead medical malpractice attorney for the University of Miami School of Medicine. With more than 20 years of experience as an active civil litigator, Knight has been recognized as one of South Florida's top attorneys by the South Florida Legal Guide and Florida’s Super Lawyers magazine.

ABOTA is a national organization that encourages improvement in the ethical and technical standards in the legal profession. Its mission is to preserve the peoples’ Seventh Amendment right to a civil jury trial. Membership is by invitation-only and is subject to vote by the national chapter. The candidate must possess a high personal character, an honorable reputation and extensive experience as a trial lawyer.
