Miami, FL – Fowler White Burnett has deepened its expertise in the areas of product liability and aviation law with the addition of attorneys Stephen “Steve” F. Coxhead and Henry “Hank” Knoblock.
“Bringing Steve and Hank into the firm expands our ability to serve product liability and aviation clients throughout Florida, the Caribbean Basin, Central and South America, and the Southeastern United States,” says Christopher E. Knight, managing shareholder of Fowler White Burnett. ”We are one of the few Florida firms with both commercial and general aviation claim expertise, as well as experience representing airport authorities, military transport companies, airlines and airframe manufacturers in matters involving Lockheed, Air Sunshine, TAM Airlines, LAN Airlines, West Caribbean Airways, Value Jet, Cessna and Piper as well as component part manufacturers on the crash of Air France 447 and Sherpa C23.”
Knight noted that the attorney additions are part of the 70-plus-year-old firm’s expansion plan that began earlier this year with the hiring of more attorneys and the launch of its Restructuring and Bankruptcy Practice. The firm is also expanding into the area of Immigration Law.
Steve Coxhead will be working within Fowler White Burnett’s Product Liability, Commercial Litigation and Aviation Practice Groups and has broad experience as a trial attorney, defending manufacturers in product liability and complex commercial matters, as well as aircraft, airframes and component parts in cases arising from incidents throughout the world. Over the last 20 years, Coxhead has tried numerous cases, in both state and federal courts - successfully handling significant mass casualty, wrongful death, electrocution and amputation injury cases.
Hank Knoblock has a significant trial practice centered on the defense of manufacturers in product liability litigation, with a primary concentration on the aviation industry. He has a track record of success spanning 30 years, defending product liability claims throughout Florida in state and federal courts.

They have represented aviation clients in connection with accidents in Italy, Africa, Haiti, the Bahamas, Panama, Venezuela, Colombia, Guatemala, Mexico, the Caribbean islands and throughout the United States.
Prior to obtaining his law degree, Knoblock spent nine years in the U.S. Army attached to the U.S. Secret Service in Washington, D.C., providing bomb disposal protection to the President of the United States and other designated individuals.
