Fowler White Burnett Expands Family Law Group with Addition of Kayla Riera-Gomez

Fowler White Burnett today announced that Kayla Riera-Gomez has been named an associate with the firm’s family law group.

She will work out of the firm’s Fort Lauderdale office and will focus her practice on all aspects of marital and family law, including the preparation of pre- and post-nuptial agreements; divorce and dissolution proceedings; child custody and shared parenting issues; determinations of spousal and child support and division of marital estates.

Prior to joining Fowler White Burnett, Riera-Gomez was a legislative assistant in the Florida House of Representatives office of Evan Jenne. She has also served as a campaign manager in the re-election campaign for Evan Jenne and Erin Copeland’s campaign for Florida’s Commissioner of Agriculture.

Riera-Gomez is actively involved in the South Florida community and serves as a volunteer with the Susan B. Anthony Recovery Center and Miami-Dade County Animal Services.

She holds a law degree from Nova Southeastern University and a bachelor’s degree from Florida State University.
