Fowler White Burnett is pleased to announce that Environmental and Land Use Shareholder Howard E. Fox has been appointed Vice Chair of Membership for the American Bar Association Section of Environment, Energy and Resources (SEER) Air Quality Committee for the 2016/17 term.
Fox’s broad-based environmental practice encompasses environmental and land use litigation, regulation and transactions as well as toxic torts and product liability. He frequently represents publicly traded companies, including global manufacturers, distributors and power companies. Previously, Fox served as a Senior Attorney in the Civil Enforcement Section of the Florida Department of Environmental Protection (FDEP), where he litigated cases involving the Clean Air Act, the Clean Water Act, RCRA, Florida's CERCLA, Florida's Safe Drinking Water Act and many other environmental laws.
The American Bar Association’s SEER Air Quality Committee provides a valuable forum and practical resources for lawyers interested in air-related issues to: (1) keep up to date on new developments, through extensive communications such as newsletters, satellite conferences and seminars; (2) exchange ideas and best practices with other practitioners around the country; and (3) stay involved with the environmental lawyer community by contributing to various Section publications and participating in Section events.
