Fowler White Burnett Sponsors Dade County Bar Association’s Breakfast With Third District Court Of Appeal Judge Kevin Emas

Fowler White Burnett sponsored this morning the Dade County Bar Association (DCBA) Appellate Court Committee’s breakfast with Third District Court of Appeal Judge Kevin Emas. This event was filled to capacity as our firm's Appellate Practice Group and a room full of DCBA members came out to hear Judge Emas discuss a variety of topics and personally answer questions from the audience. Topics discussed included the importance of including the Standard of Review in appellate briefs, oral arguments and how they impact the Court's decision-making, and the use of hyperlinks of cases and the record for appellate briefs.
