Robert Friedhoff is an Associate in the firm’s Medical Malpractice Practice Group. He focuses his practice on representing healthcare facilities, academic medical centers, individual physician practices and related insurance entities in both litigation and administrative proceedings. His approach to litigation involves the analysis of the risks and benefits associated with trial or alternative dispute resolution forums, while additionally considering the potential business impact and public relations concerns associated with both venues.

Robert has experience with corporate and intellectual property matters and routinely files economic substance reporting for foreign business entities, and memorializes corporate events in closely held entities. He also handles a broad range of intellectual property matters including creation of intellectual property strategy plans, application and prosecution of United States and foreign trademarks and copyrights, negotiation and enforcement of intellectual property transactions and licensing agreements, representation of corporations and individuals in intellectual property disputes and related matters, and maintenance of an international trademark portfolio for companies in the sports, maritime shipping, and liquor industries.

Robert graduated from the College of Wooster with a B.A in Political Science with a Concentration in U.S. Politics and a Minor in Latin American Studies. He obtained his Juris Doctor from the University of Miami School of Law, cum laude. During law school, he was the Senior Notes & Comments Editor for the International and Comparative Law Review.
