Gressman brings a wealth of knowledge and experience in high-stakes litigation, having served as lead counsel in over 400 jury trials, 100 non-jury trials, and more than 100 appeals across state and federal courts. His practice focuses on complex litigation matters, medical malpractice, property and casualty insurance defense, wrongful death, products liability, civil rights, and more. His deep litigation experience, combined with his exceptional legal writing and appellate advocacy skills, make him an invaluable addition to the firm and a formidable advocate for clients facing complex legal disputes.

Prior to joining Fowler White, Gressman held key leadership roles at several distinguished law firms, where he served as a partner and business unit leader, managing complex litigation and high-stakes legal matters. He also dedicated more than 35 years to the Miami-Dade County Attorney’s Office, where he served as Chief of the Torts Section, leading complex litigation matters on behalf of the county.
Beyond his litigation practice, Gressman is a respected legal educator. He has served as an Adjunct Professor of Law at the University of Miami for over a decade, teaching courses in legal writing, appellate practice, pretrial civil litigation, and oral advocacy. His passion for the law extends to mentoring the next generation of attorneys, further solidifying his reputation as a leader in the legal community.
A graduate of the University of Michigan Law School, where he was a Note and Administrative Editor of the International Law Review, Gressman also holds a Master of Public Policy from the Gerald R. Ford School of Public Policy.
