Fowler White, a leading full-service law firm with more than 80 years of history, is pleased to announce that Megan E. Roth has joined the firm as a Senior Associate, contributing her extensive courtroom experience to the firm’s Commercial Litigation and Insurance Practice Groups.
Roth focuses her practice on civil litigation and insurance defense, representing clients in matters involving premises liability, negligent security, construction defect, wrongful death, and first-party insurance claims. She has served as lead counsel in both jury and bench trials and has managed all phases of litigation in state and federal courts across Florida.
“Megan brings a rare combination of poise, trial skill, and versatility to our litigation team,” said Managing Shareholder Christopher E. Knight. “Her experience in handling a wide range of high-stakes matters makes her an excellent fit for our Commercial Litigation and Insurance practices. We’re excited to have her on board.”
Before joining Fowler White, Roth gained extensive experience in both criminal and civil litigation. She began her career as a trial attorney at the Miami-Dade Public Defender’s Office and later expanded her practice to include family law, appeals, and civil defense at a South Florida litigation firm. She has conducted hundreds of depositions, mediations, and evidentiary hearings.
“I’m proud to join a firm that shares my commitment to strategic advocacy and high-quality legal service,” said Roth. “Fowler White offers the resources and collaborative environment that will allow me to continue developing as a litigator while making meaningful contributions to our clients’ success.”
Roth earned her J.D. from Florida International University College of Law, where she was a member of the nationally ranked FIU Trial Team and received multiple CALI Book Awards. She also holds an M.F.A. in Creative Writing from the University of Miami and a B.A. in Political Science from Birmingham-Southern College. She is admitted to practice in Florida and the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Florida.
