Fowler White is pleased to announce that Harry L. Cutler, Christopher B. Smith and Andrew G. Tuttle have been elected Shareholders.
Harry L. Cutler is a Shareholder in the firm's Medical Malpractice Practice Group where concentrates his practice on complex medical malpractice, personal injury, professional liability, premises liability, insurance defense, and wrongful death. Harry has substantial experience representing healthcare professionals and numerous hospitals (local and national) throughout South Florida in medical malpractice and other related matters.
Harry earned his Juris Doctor from the University of Florida Fredric G. Levin College of Law, cum laude, and his Bachelor of Arts from the University of Florida with a major in Sports Management and a minor in Business Administration.
Christopher B. Smith is a Shareholder in the firm's Maritime, Aviation and Products Liability practice groups. Christopher handles a wide variety of maritime and admiralty cases, including defense of cruise line passenger claims, crew claims, defense of marinas, boatyards, and shipyards in personal injury and property loss matters, defense and prosecution of maritime subrogation claims, maritime limitation of liability claims, defense of livery operators and charter fishing operators as well as handling recreational boating incidents. In Christopher’s Aviation practice, he leverages his experience in products liability and in jurisdictional and venue defenses in favor of aircraft manufacturers and component parts manufacturers facing catastrophic injury and wrongful death claims. Additionally, his practice includes representation of domestic and international airlines as well as fixed base operators related to claims for property damage and personal injury. Christopher also has extensive experience in defense of general product liability matters, including successful defense of clients in the furniture and lighting industries.
Christopher received his Juris Doctor from the University of Miami School of Law, graduating cum laude. He also graduated cum laude from the University of Georgia with his B.A. in Journalism.
Andrew G. Tuttle is a member of the firm's
Commercial Litigation and
Insurance Practice Groups. Andrew’s complex commercial litigation practices specially focuses on business-related matters, including, but not limited to: construction litigation; contract/restrictive covenant claims; business torts and frauds; complex institutional foreclosure and post-judgment proceedings; landlord-tenant law; and, securities litigation. This diverse portfolio has led to representing a multi-state energy company, statewide construction firms, public and private universities, political subdivisions of the State of Florida, as well as, nationally-sized to family-owned businesses. In his highly-active and robust casualty practice, Andrew regularly defends premises, products, catastrophic personal injury matters and also similar claims such as negligent security and nursing homes. His representation in this area of law involves defending nationwide/regional retailers, c-stores and restaurant chains, leading manufacturers, multi-state property management firms, mass transportation clients, nursing home facilities and many other similar-situated businesses.
Andrew received his Juris Doctor and his Certificate of Concentration in Advocacy from Stetson University College of Law and a Bachelor in Arts in Political Science/Pre-Law as well as a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from the University of Central Florida,
cum laude.
